Elementool unveils Test Case

NEW YORK, USA: Elementool Inc., the leading developer of online project management software, today released Test Case, the newest Web-based project management tool.

Elementool’s Test Case management tool lets Testing Managers organize and control the testing process so each test case is completed efficiently and timely, without bugs slipping by. In real time systems such as banks, hospitals, and airplanes, releasing software containing bugs can cause severe damage to a company’s reputation, and to the people relying on these systems.

Ensuring full testing of all product features on schedule can be difficult if the status of each test isn’t easily accessible and apparent. Elementool enables testing managers to view a snapshot of the testing process status, and quickly run a report showing how many tests are open, or have been completed, and how many bugs have been reported.

Test Case manages test trails, steps, reports and history in one accessible place, minimizing time spent on procedural tasks and eliminating duplicated efforts. Test Case streamlines the test process from creating a test and defining steps and procedure, to prioritizing tests. Using Test Case, project managers can assign test cases to team members, track test progress, activate email notifications to individual users regarding assignments, and generate test case reports.

As a Web-based service, Elementool can be accessed from any Web browser without downloading or installing software. Unlike excel files; an unlimited number of users can access Test Case online, at any time. Users can customize fields in their account based on product and test case specifics, and re-order steps as priorities change.

Test Case is fully integrated; individual tasks can be linked to items in other Elementool products such as Issue Tracking. Files, such as screenshots, images or text documents can be attached to test cases, in order to provide users with a better description of the test or step.
