element14 launches capacitive "multi-touch" LCD module for SABRE Lite and MarS board

BANGALORE, INDIA: element14 exclusively manufactured and launched the LCD8000-97C, a portable 9.7" LVDS display with capacitive "multi-touch" capability for SABRELite and MarS boards featuring the powerful Freescale i.MX6 multimedia application processor.

The add-on LCD display for SABRELite and MarS boards facilitates portability and can be used for consumer, automotive and industrial applications such as tablets, multimedia devices, medical and navigation systems.

Priced at $199 with a resolution of 1024x768 and 262K colour the LCD8000-97C is available from Farnell element14 in Europe, Newark element14 in North America and element14 in APAC.
