Electronic trade fair to be held in Bangalore

BANGALORE, INDIA: Messe Munchen International (MMI) India Pvt. Ltd., today announced that it has brought its two world’s leading trade fairs that take place in Munich, to India.

The show, which is 10th International Exhibition for electronic components, assemblies, materials and production technologies, will display a huge product range such as components,semiconductors, sensors, relays, switches and interconnection technology,ED/EDA and test and measurement technology, etc.

It will be held from 8th to 11th September, 2009 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, Tumkur Road, Bangalore.

At electronica India and productronica India 2009, more than 750 exhibitors would present their products on an area spread over two halls of exhibition space, said a press release.

Klaus Dittrich , managing director, MMI said, “This step was made possible through the great success of electronica India 2008, which turned the event into the most important electronics trade fair in India. The show has fulfilled all the promises of being India’s leading trade show.”

The show is focused on trade buyers. Target groups include Electrical engineering and electronics, Information technology, Communication technology, Consumer technology, Automotive industry, Machinery and plant construction, Medical technology, Quality control, PCB Manufacturing and other sectors like trade, skilled trades, services and research/ development, said the release.
