Edurite launches an education portal

BANGALORE: If you are bored with the current education system, well, help is on your way. Edurite Technologies Pvt. Ltd (ETPL) has launched its education portal www.edurite.com for students between 14 and 22 years. A dynamic interactive portal, it offers education supplements aligned with traditional educational systems within the country, particularly for CBSE, ICSE, State Board, CET exams and for engineering courses and has a host of other interesting features.

From online lectures to competitive testing of exams, from question banks to answers this portal has it all for you. Its domain expertise comes from the PES Institute of Technology, India’s first ISO 9002 certified college, and a team of dedicated people which include academics, students, trainers, business developers and technology experts. Science-centric in its initial phase, the portal will host contents of over 140 subjects developed by an accomplished faculty, and validated by a panel of experts. Designed to create enthusiasm for learning among its users, the content, delivered through lectures by eminent faculty, will also be recorded and made available on CDs.

The long-term objective is to make the portal a virtual university addressing the needs of the international community. Revenue is expected in the form of advertisements and selling CDs to students. Arthur Andersen, consultants of Edurite, is in discussion with several financial institutions to arrange funding of approximately Rs 15 crore to carry forward the various activities of ETPL.
