Educational Initiatives appoints Anand Prakash as SVP, Consumer Business

EdTech Educational Initiatives (EI) has announced the appointment of Anand Prakash as its Senior Vice President for their Consumer Business. Anand will be a part of the senior management team of Educational Initiatives. He will drive consumer business for the company by driving customer acquisition. He will also look at the revenue through online and offline channels of EI.

Srini Raghavan, Co-founder and CEO, Educational Initiatives welcomed Anand Prakash to the senior management team in a statement. He said, “Anand's extensive experience in consumer business will help drive EI's growth. With his demonstrated proficiency in scaling businesses and also his deep understanding of the consumer market, I am confident that Anand will play a pivotal role in powering EI's vision.”

About Anand Prakash

An alumnus of IIT Kanpur and IIM Ahmedabad, Anand has been an entrepreneur. He comes with 18 years of industry experience. Before joining EI, Anand was the Co-Founder and COO of Datawrkz, a digital marketing cum ad-tech company. At Datawrkz, he built a profitable venture with footprints across India, Singapore and the US. In his previous stints, Anand has worked with investment banks and managed the technology team. Some prominent names include Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Bank of America. He has also developed high-performance trading platforms for equity, derivatives and fixed income products.
