Edimax achieves 150 pc YoY growth

BANGALORE, INDIA: Networking company Edimax reported 150 per cent YoY growth. In 2012, 70 per cent of its business was generated from small office home office (SOHO) segment followed by 15 per cent from small and medium businesses (SMBs) and 10 per cent from surveillance segment.

Edimax routers contributed the major share in the sales growth followed by Wi-Fi adaptors. Edimax has a network base of 50+ partners in the North and West India and plans to double its growth in 2013 by targeting the market of South India.

Eric Yang, country manager, Edimax Technology, said: "2012 was a year of success which saw a growth of 150 per cent in the business. Edimax is currently 100 per cent channel oriented business model. Edimax have aligned with more than 50 partners across North and West market but with the target and focus in 2013 moving towards south, we are optimistic to double the business. Venturing into the new market verticals like surveillance, LFR, E-commerce will certainly create extra mileage in our visibility and presence. Service improvements by adding more resources and streamlining with new service partner will also give us the edge against the competition. We look forward to achieve higher growths in the coming years."
