ECFBN provides hosting, monitoring, and network services to small and medium sized businesses, allowing them to scale their IT systems as their business grows.

"Data center colocation has been a strategic part of our business model for many years, but we grew frustrated by the annual price increases and power constraints of traditional providers," said Brent Doherty cofounder of ECFBN. "RagingWire's Ashburn data center was the clear choice for us because they have a better colocation product and because their core offerings align with our core competencies: 100% availability, world-class customer experience, solution flexibility and scalability, and relationship-driven customer service."

ECFBN's hosting and cloud infrastructure is installed in RagingWire's Ashburn data center, in the heart of Northern Virginia's "Data Center Alley." As part of its integrated colocation solution, ECFBN takes advantage of RagingWire's Colo Connect network service to provide direct fiber connectivity between ECFBN's IT systems at RagingWire and the company's additional data center deployments in the Ashburn area.

As ECFBN planned their data center migration in tandem with a hardware refresh, this connectivity was especially important as the company incrementally ramped its footprint into RagingWire while maintaining connectivity to its legacy systems. As part of the migration, ECFBN relied on RagingWire to design and implement the cabling system for their entire cage and extensive server deployment.

"We are excited to welcome ECFBN to our Virginia data center and honored to be their production environment," said Doug Adams, senior VP of sales and marketing. "Their successful migration is a great example for IT managers who want to move their IT systems to a superior data center while minimizing risk and providing continuous service to their customers."
