SANTA CLARA, USA: Raritan, a leading provider of Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) and rack power distribution solutions, will be moderating a customer panel of data center experts on how best to design rack power and cooling to make data centers reliable, responsive and future proofed.

With proven track records from running some of the most innovative, dynamic and fastest-growing data centers and labs in the world -- including data centers at eBay, Cisco and VMware -- the panel of experts will share their views on how to select and deploy rack power equipment in order to:

* Optimize available power, cooling and space.

* Future proof racks with enough capacity headroom to support server/compute changes and growth, and future technological advances.

* Reduce OPEX and CAPEX.

* Meet SLAs and avoid potential outages by, for example, implementing phase balance across six circuits, and by using energy reporting and monitoring tools with alerts.

* Support higher, more-efficient power distribution, such as 400V.
