eBay announces event for small business, sellers

SAN JOSE, Calif.: eBay, an E-commerce provider, on Monday announced the launch of a new series of events called eBay: On Location.

The event is focused to help small-business and part-time sellers accelerate their businesses on eBay, said a press release.

eBay: On Location, which kicks off March 19-20 in Atlanta, would bring small-business and part-time eBay sellers together to network and gain practical knowledge about building and growing their businesses on eBay.

“eBay sellers are creative entrepreneurs who understand that eBay’s global reach and dynamic marketplace offer the ideal setting to start and build a business online,” said Lorrie Norrington, president of eBay Marketplaces.

“We invite our sellers to eBay: On Location to connect with each other and to take the next step in making their eBay businesses even more successful.”

eBay: On Location courses are geared toward the interests of people who sell on eBay part-time, as well as those who have set up small businesses on eBay and earn a significant portion of their incomes from their eBay sales.

Event attendees would hear from national speakers, as well as eBay’s own experts, on timely business topics and would participate in an engaging, actionable agenda of classes designed to help sellers be more successful on eBay, said the release..

After Atlanta, the event would travel to three other U.S. cities, Dallas, Chicago and San Jose, Calif.
