"We believe in building our brand value first and create a stable base. Our plan is to make it more process driven and automate the operations. We have been growing more through word of mouth marketing and plan to leverage the same way for a while," said Udit Saran, founder, Eatongo.

The venture is in advanced talks with investors and plans to close its first round of funding soon which is expected to be around 1 million. With the investment the founders plan to scale the business, enhance their marketing and technology which will help them climb the ladder.  They will also launch the company's mobile app on Android and iOS soon.

Currently consisting of a team of 30 members, the founders expect the team to grow easily upto 100 members by end of this fiscal year.

Taru Raaj Agarwal, co-founder, COO, says that the startup ecosystem is growing quite fast and so is the competition in the space. Thus entering the space at this juncture is a strong challenge to find the right talent and retain, although they try to hold on to them with incentives and engagement activities.

This food tech startup differentiates itself by adding ingredients from different regions. The company plans to add and expand its menu based on customer demands and feedback.  The company also aims to be an eco-friendly company in all its processes especially in its packaging.
