Talking to the media on the sidelines of Connect 2006, e4e Chairperson, K B Chandrasekhar said, “e4e will be opening a new facility in Chennai, which will help meet rapidly growing business requirements for our new clients.”

The new centre will be part of e4e’s global service delivery centers that currently include locations distributed in US, Europe, and Asia. The facility is expected to be operational by November 2006, at the ETL SEZ on the outskirts of Chennai and fulfill service operations demand for e4e’s financial services and technical support services.

“Initially, the facility would be operated with 1200 people and would be scaled up to 2400 by September 2007,” Chandrasekhar said, adding that the Chennai center would become the largest center for the company.
