He has alleged that, the e-governance plan of the Bihar government is reducing job opportunities and resulting to high unemployment among youth in Bihar. Prasad accused Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar of being "unsympathetic" towards youths by putting to use technology.

Prasad also accused the Chief Minister for its policy to hire workforce on contract basis. As per him, Kumar is 'jeopardising livelihood' of the younger generation by hiring workforce on contract basis.

"The NDA government in Bihar has become a government of contract," he said. He referred to the large scale hiring of employees on contract in recent years, including over 2.5 lakh panchayat school teachers.

He advocated for those projects in Bihar that were conceived under the master plan during his tenure. As per him, it has been 'buried' by his successors. He also claimed that, those projects would have created employment opportunities for the local people.
