Features: The DX-5725XGS, from Dax Networks, is a managed, stackable Layer 3 (L3) switch.






DX-5725XGS has 24 10/100/1000 Base T Ports, 4 Giga Combo SFP ports, 2# 10G stacking ports and additional optional 10 Giga fibre expansion slot. DX-5725XGS can be deployed at the core of SMB and enterprise networks.





DX-5725XGS supports L3 features such as Static IP routes, Multi-netting, Super netting, RIP I & RIP II, OSPF routing, and IP Multicast routing, thereby providing end-to-end routing solutions.





The switch has a 10G fibre expansion option, which allows fast uplink to core and access networks. The built-in dual 10G copper stack ports allow advanced stackability of up to 40Gbps. This stack bandwidth helps to increase port density without compromising on backplane bandwidth.





IP Management (SIM) technology and closed loop stacking architecture of DX-5725XGS allow a virtual stack where switches are to be stacked through a single IP address. These features ensure simplified network administration and protection of network investment with resilient links.





The switch is also backward compatible and hence provides investment protection. DX-5725XGS comes with a three-year warranty and online support to its customers.
