Headquartered at Hyderabad with offices in Mumbai, New Jersey and Singapore,

Duncan Infotech had achieved certification under the ISO 9001:1994 standards in

July 2000, within a short period of starting operations. The company has moved

to the new standard much before it becomes obligatory.

Dr P K Mukherjee, president and CEO of Duncan Infotech said, "I am very

pleased with the fact that we are continually improving the quality of our

software processes. Our next milestone will be SEI CMM level 4 assessment. We

strongly believe that process quality is a very important component of

commitment to customer satisfaction."

The revised ISO 9001:2000 standards address the quality management system

requirements for an organization, to demonstrate its capability to meet customer

requirements and enhance customer satisfaction. The major improvements required

as per the new standard are in the areas of 'Process Orientation' and 'Continual

Improvement'.

Duncan Infotech is a division of Duncans Industries Ltd., a part of the

Duncan Goenka Group. Duncan Infotech has setup centers of excellence in the

areas of Internet, healthcare, Oracle based solutions and enterprise solutions
