NEW DELHI: GPS India has launched the Garmin GPSMAP 276C — a versatile and portable sunlight-readable color GPS navigator that offers automobile enthusiasts built-in street-level nationwide navigation.

The Garmin GPSMAP 276C's auto route base map has the interstate and major highway maps pre-fed, which ensure that a driver can never lose the way and can easily reach any destination. Drivers can navigate the world, or navigate back to their favorite spots again and again from wherever they are. Drivers can route to their most frequent destination instantly. In addition, drivers now have faster and easier access to new or previously traveled routes.

For added convenience, the route is indicated in colour (magenta) line, and the drivers' position is seen as a black triangle, which reflects the moving position of the vehicle in real-time. This portable GPS navigator features interesting information such as optimal course (chart plotter), speed, distance traveled, time estimations etc.

Listing the device's features Semoun Jolly - Director, GPS India said — "its like having a personal assistant in your car, guiding you turn-by-turn to your destination. The Garmin GPS MAP276C in-car navigation system provides a wealth of important information including where you are, how to get where you are going, speed, distance, time to destination etc., enabling you to concentrate on the experience of the road without worrying about finding your way."
