INDIA: Infosys posted better than expected revenue growth for the quarter ended December 31, 2014. The net profit was also better than expected with 13 per cent YTY in USD and in local currency. The new Infosys strategy, along with an important effort done by Dr. Vishal Sikka visiting over 500 clients over the past two quarters, is starting to bear fruits.

As Forrester Research's Vice President and Research Director, Frederic Giron weighs in, the "Renew + New" strategy is resonating well with clients, which need help defining and executing their digital transformation strategy.

"Forrester believes that enterprises are entering the Age of the Customer where sources of competitive advantage will hinge around the capacity for them to systematically understand and serve digitally empowered customers. Infosys is thriving to position itself as a key partner there, helping enterprises become digital businesses by transforming their internal, customer oriented operations and innovating to transform the experience of their customers' customers leveraging digital technologies."
