Dr Mashelkar in Business Week's Asian galaxy

NEW DELHI: Dr R.A. Mashelkar, director general, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), figures among Business Week's top 25 stars of Asia.

The American journal considered Asian leaders from various fields such as business, management, finance and innovation for the top 25 slots.

Business Week applauded Dr. Mashelkar's role as a preeminent leader in Indian science and technology. The journal also highlighted his role in redirecting science and technology to suit the conditions of the developing world.
