PARIS: A whole range of silicon IPs, optimized for high density, has been introduced by EDA and IP company Dolphin Integration SA. Sources say that with the new silicon IPs designers can increase the density of their SoC by up to 10 percent.
Reports from Dolphin Integration, based in Meyaln, France are that the 65nm High Density Panoply represents a complete solution for the whole logic design that will help to reduce cost right from the architectural level.
The newly introduced silicon IP range includes Single Port and Dual Port RAMs, metal programmable ROMs, Register Files and standard cells.
Sources say that the new introductions are essentially designed for consumer and industrial applications who have high fabrication volumes and low cost manufacturing requirements.
