docdata acquires majority stake in Hitura

WAALWIJK, THE NETHERLANDS: Internet service company docdata has acquired 61.2 per cent stake in London-based Hitura Ltd for a consideration of £245000.

The remaining shares would be bought between 2008 and 2013. The balance sheet and income statement of Hitura Ltd would be included in the consolidation of docdata with effect from February 1.

Michiel Alting von Geusau, CEO of docdata, said, "Acquiring Hitura Ltd enables docdata to launch its full e-commerce solutions also in the UK and seize the many opportunities that exist. Together with our Media, Fulfillment and Payments companies, we now have a compelling range of services for clients that want to be successful on the Internet."

Hitura offers e-Concept and consultancy, e-Shop design and development, managed hosting and e-Marketing services to the UK market.
