New Update

Purists may shudder putting Chetan Bhagat in the same list as Salman Rushdie and Neil Gaiman, but the fact is that he has more followers on social media than any other author writing in English today. With a 13million+ reach on facebook & twitter, what he says carries great influence.

He does a good job of spreading the word on public service efforts

Or if you want something that reeks of sexism, look up info on his deleted tweets, where in one he compared a woman giving birth to a coke vending machine, and in another where he wrote “a phulka making bride may come at a cost of missing out on other qualities.” Ugh.

Nilanjana Roy
