Discover "Incredible India" through Windows XP

NEW DELHI: Microsoft India in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism introduced an exclusive Windows XP theme pack on the occasion of the World Tourism Day on Tuesday.

The theme pack was launched at a function to celebrate World Tourism Day at Purana Quila in the presence of Renuka Choudhary, Union Minister of State for Tourism (Independent Charge).

The "Incredible India" theme pack for Windows XP has been rolled out as a part of the Incredible India campaign being run by the Ministry of Tourism to promote India as a global tourist destination. This freely downloadable theme pack includes a range of features created specially for India, including rich background images, system sounds, screen saver and local icons.

"We are delighted to partner with Ministry of Tourism in their endeavour to promote India as a global tourist destination. The Incredible India Theme pack captures the colours of India in its various forms and provides the platform to millions of Windows XP users to experience the 'Incredible India' on their desktop," said Rohit Kumar, director, Public Sector, Microsoft India.

“This is a great multiplier for Incredible India Campaign since it provides an intensive exposure to the 'Incredible India Brand',” he added.
