JAIPUR: Data Infosys Ltd (DIL), an Internet service provider (ISP) in Rajasthan, has come out with a unique anti virus e-mail system. "Emails have become a necessary tool for communication and cannot be dispensed with. High importance is laid to its better and effective error-free functioning. However, the bottleneck continues to be the viruses, which destroy or at least slow down the process. Looking at this we have come out with a software to safeguard users' e-mails", Ajay Data, Chief Executive Officer of Data Infosys said.

It remains a fact that nearly 95 per cent viruses are spread through email as attachment, threatening important and valuable data available in documents, mails and software. Sometimes even a sensitive user is not aware that the virus is active in his PC and it is nastily consuming the computer resources and slowing it down. It's very common for a virus to crash disk, server or entire network without notice and irreparable condition, keeping an end user in hopeless situation.

"Our virus-proof solution to the users' mails has remedy for nearly 60,000 viruses, Trojan horses and Internet worms", he added. Data said that the mail server "ANTIVIRUS ROBOT" scans all mails coming to "dil.in" server and analyzes whether this mail or attachment is infected with the virus or not. If mail contains virus then it blocks a mail and does not allow it to reach the user's mail box and acknowledges the user as well as the sender that the following attachment or mail has not been delivered to the recipient because it contains virus in it.

He pointed out that since the company has have tied up with consortium of AVRC, any viruses found by any anti-virus company are communicated to us and hence we are not dependent on a single vendor for virus cure.
