Digital Waves launches TYAN Transport Server Solns

BANGALORE: IT products and solutions provider Digital Waves today announced the launch of Tyan Transport VX50 server solutions that offer form factors and the features required to build server systems.

“The Transport VX50 offers flexibility and power to meet organizations' computing requirements,” Bangalore-based Digital Waves said in a statement. The Transport VX50 is convertible to both 5 U rackmount and full-scale tower form factors.

Additionally, it supports up to eight AMD Opteron 800 series processors with single and dual core support, and also offers four SATA hot-swap drive bays, support for up to 128GB of Registered DDR memory, dual Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, and redundant power supply options.

According to Kaushik N Sonawala, director, Digital Waves, "With Tyan Transport server solutions, Digital Waves is delivering broader features and greater computing capabilities for customers. The company has the skills and expertise to architect, design, plan and implement a complete IT Infrastructure that includes Workstations, Servers, Storage and Networking Products."
