The website, Thisman.org, is dedicated to a mysterious man who reportedly comes in the dreams of many people, but none of them have ever seen him or met him. According to the website details, the website was launched in January 2008 by a sociologist named Andrea Natella.

Since launch, this site has received a good response from the people across globe. Interestingly, the graph of Google trends shows a vertical line for page visit, which means the highest mark of page views at a particular period of time. These visitors are largely from Canada and the United States.

According to the site, in January 2006 in New York, the patient of a well-known psychiatrist drew the face of a man that has been repeatedly appearing in her dreams. She swears to never have met the man in her life.

The psychiatrist soon came across four patients that have patients with recurrent dreams and that recognize the man as a frequent presence in their own dreams. From January 2006 until today, at least 2000 people have claimed they have seen this man in their dreams, in many cities all over the world: Los Angeles, Berlin, Sao Paulo, Tehran, Beijing, Rome, Barcelona, Stockholm, Paris, New Delhi, Moscow... you name it.

The site also discusses various theories (!) behind the mystery 'dream man', including Jung's psychoanalytic theory and religious theory. According to the religious theory, this man could be the image of the Creator (Oh my God! Look at the image; is the creator getting bald?).

Then there is the dream surfer theory, dream imitation theory and the daytime recognition theory.

But isn't it possible that the image published online itself is the reason behind he invading the dreams, I wonder.

“At the moment there is no ascertained relation or common trait among the people that have dreamed of seeing this man. Moreover, no living man has ever been recognized as resembling the man of the portrait by the people who have seen this man in their dreams,” the website says.

The website has many section like history, theories, dreams portraits and even a shop. The visitors are directly diverted to the websire, www.cafepress.in, where they can purchase tees and spaghetti's starting at US$19.
