Features:  ZyXEL Communications Corporation, the networking and information security product manufacturing company has announced the immediate availability of ZyXEL desktop Ethernet switch.

This product is designed for digital home network. ZyXEL desktop ethernet switch, the ES-108A, offers advanced "VIP ports" to boost performance and user experience of Internet surfing, online gaming, multimedia, or any application the user prefers with prioritized bandwidth.

Mahendra Lalwani, managing director, ZyXEL Technology India Pvt. Ltd. said, "With advanced switching technology, ZyXEL specifically designs a series of desktop Ethernet switches with designated priority "VIPports" reserved for media-rich applications such voice, video, and data."

With the N-way auto-negotiation function, the ES-108A connects the network counterparts with highest possible network speed and activates duplex mode automatically. Besides, the store-and-forward service brings low latency and error-free packet delivering.

The plug-and-play and multiple network protocol compatibility of the ES-108A make the installation and management easier, said the company release.

The new switch, is available in India through ZyXEL Technology India Pvt. Ltd., and its authorized channel partners.
