HP Double Swath Technology doubles the number of printhead nozzles by placing them in a staggered formation. This staggering allows the printer to extend the actual print path, resulting in a faster print output making the printer ideal for users with tight deadlines.

The new printer delivers fast printouts in A1/D size in 25 seconds2 and can complete a print job of 100 A1/D size within one hour. HP Designjet 4000 printer series provides a resolution of up to 2400 x 1200 optimized dpi4 and up to +/- 0.1 %5 line accuracy. The printer offers a set of HP Professional Color technologies, including Closed Loop Color (CLC), Pantone calibration, offset emulation, HP CMYK Plus, K Point compensation, sRGB, AdobeRGB, and TIFF and JPEG with embedded ICC profiles.

The HP Designjet 4000 printer series is able to remotely manage printer, ink and media usage through Web-based remote management

The new HP No. 90 ink cartridges have been designed to work specifically with the HP Designjet 4000 printer series. The ink cartridges are available in three different colors and black, each in two different sizes, with value pack and multi-pack options.
