Infogroup joins in contributing its data toward the creation of Demandbase's business contact records and marketing technology to help businesses achieve higher response rates and greater selling efficiency.

The company leverages Infogroup data quality in the small and medium business(SMB) segment to join business contact information. Today, the integrated data platform includes more than 8 million business contacts, all with valid email addresses, and is available on demand with powerful filtering and scoring functionality to improve the precision in list creation, said a press release.

"Targeting the SMB market requires incredible attention to data quality; we researched many of the providers and selected Infogroup to meet our customers' expectations," said Chris Golec, CEO of Demandbase.

"It's a great partnership. Infogroup provides a service of creating and maintaining data, and Demandbase provides technology to link the data with customer Web traffic to generate leads, marketing insights, and ultimately new selling opportunities."

The combination of the multi-sourced data platform with 100 million monthly Web visits from more than 2,000 businesses has provided Demandbase a unique advantage in enabling customers to identify and score Web traffic quality by relevancy to a target audience, traffic source, campaign, and online channel, said the release.

Advanced techniques and a proprietary database that grows with each new customer enables Demandbase to match an IP address from a business visitor to an actual company address with industry, revenue and other demographic information at a rate 3X greater than using basic reverse IP methods.

Demandbase solutions are delivered on demand and require no hardware or software deployment so customers can start using the service in minutes. Demandbase Professional is offered as a subscription service and combines Web analytics with the data platform to generate leads, measure response, and close the loop between outbound and inbound marketing, the release added.
