The program is basically conducted to recognize the fastest growing technology companies in India based on their percentage revenue growth over the past three financial years, said a press release.

“The Technology Fast 50 India program is a part of a truly integrated global program recognizing the world’s fastest growing and most dynamic technology companies (public and private) and includes all areas of technology such as Internet, biotechnology, medical and computers/hardware,” said a senior official from Deloitte India.

The report stated that all eligible nominations in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 India program automatically qualify for participation in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific program, which recognizes the 500 fastest growing technology companies in the Asia Pacific region.

A ranking achieved in these programs would help build credibility, potentially attract business partners, increase employee pride and generate visibility for the qualifying companies, winners in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 India 2008 will be announced in November 2008, the release added.
