Dell's notebook with Celeron processor

NEW DELHI: Dell has announced the launch of Dell Latitude D505 notebooks that

can be configured with Intel's new Celeron M processor, choice of 14.1 or

15-inch displays. The company claims that designed for price-sensitive education

customers and small and medium businesses with a networked environment, it

provides true mobility without sacrificing reliability, flexibility or

performance.

Starting at Rs 84,951, the Latitude D505 comes with an Intel Celeron M

processor at 1.2GHz, a 14.1-inch XGA display and Intel's PRO Wireless 2100

(802.11b). Customers can configure systems with Intel's Centrino Mobile

Technology, with an Intel Pentium M processor, 855GME chipset and Intel's PRO

Wireless 2100.

Customers can also choose a 15-inch XGA display. Dell offers a single point

of accountability for deployment services to support its latest portfolio of

Latitude products, which can help save time and effort and allow customers to

focus IT resources on more strategic projects.
