Dell enhances SMB product portfolio

AHMEDABAD, INDIA: Dell, on Wednesday announced that it has introduced a range of enterprise products designed specifically to meet the needs of medium and small businesses (SMB) by simplifying operations, reducing downtime, enhancing information security and reducing operating cost.

A portfolio of enterprise solutions was launched during the ‘SMB Experience’ roadshow in Ahmedabad, an interactive pan India initiative that reaches out to SMBs and channel partners across the country, said a press release.

The new portfolio includes four 11th Generation Dell PowerEdge servers, Lifecycle Controller 1.2 embedded systems management, the PowerVault NX300 network attached storage (NAS) device, Dell Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and Dell ProConsult services.

 “Small and medium businesses around the world are looking for technology solutions that deliver more security, greater reliability and lower operating costs. With today’s announcement, Dell is even better positioned to help our customers be more efficient so they can spend more time growing their business and less time managing their IT investments,” said Ravi Bhardwaj, general manager, SMB, India.

He added that With India among its key markets, Dell is committed to the small and medium businesses in the country to help them grow with a suite of specific products and simplified IT solutions geared for their needs.

From entry level desktops to high end laptops, servers and storage, Dell aims to help SMB organizations reach newer realms of performance, said the release.

Through their channel strategy, the Partner Direct program, Dell has increased its reach into the Indian cities, today reaching out to almost 200 cities.

The SMB Experience roadshow, across Indian cities, continues this interactive SMB outreach program by the company as a part of its cohesive strategy to address their unique technology needs, the release added.
