NEW DELHI: Dell today announced the Dell Latitude D620 and Latitude D820 --
slimmer and lighter notebook computers featuring the power of Intel Core Duo
Processors.
“As mobile computing has become mission critical for businesses of any
size, Dell found that customers care about durability, security and access to
critical business information,” said Christine Rand, director of Marketing,
Client Products, Dell South Asia and ANZ.
“These new Latitude systems address and exceed these customer needs in
robust design, comprehensive security options and significant reductions from
the prior generation products in weight and thickness.”
With a starting weight of 2.0kg, the Latitude D620 includes an Intel Core Duo
T2300 processor and a 14.1-inch wide aspect XGA display. The Rs. 81,000/- base
configuration includes 512MB DDR2 shared memory, 40GB SATA hard drive and 802.11
b/g Wi-Fi capability.
A base configuration for the Latitude D820 (starting weight 2.54kg) is Rs
87,000/- and includes an Intel Core Duo T2300 processor with a 15.4-inch wide
aspect XGA display, 512MB DDR2 shared memory, 40GB SATA hard drive and 802.11
b/g Wi-Fi capability.
Advanced upgrade options for the D820 include the NVIDIA Quadro NVS 120M
TurboCache business graphics solution with 512MB, a high-resolution WUXGA
display and 120GB hard drive.
