Delhi mulls guidelines for cellphone towers

NEW DELHI, INDIA: In the wake of complaints regarding health hazards of radiation from mobile phone towers, the Delhi government on Wednesday said it will hold a meeting with the ministry of communication and IT on issuing guidelines to telecom firms.

"We will hold a meeting with the central ministry regarding issuing the guidelines in the capital," Delhi health minister A.K. Walia said after a meeting on the issue.
