NEW DELHI, INDIA: India's Delhi High Court on Thursday deferred to April 26 a hearing for bail applications of five business executives charged by police in a multi-billion dollar telecoms licensing scandal.

Three executives from India's Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, including a group managing director, and the managing directors of real estate firms Unitech Ltd and DB Realty had appealed to the Delhi High Court after their applications were rejected by a lower court on Wednesday.

Unitech is Telenor's partner in their India mobile joint venture, while DB Realty's parent DB Group is Etisalat's local mobile joint-venture partner.
