NEW DELHI: Datapro, a company dealing in computer education, is planning to

set up 200 Web Academies across the country. The Datapro 'Web Academy' will

exclusively offer Web technology based courses and programs.

Of the 200 centers, Datapro has already signed up 25 centers in various parts

of the country. Datapro intends to make all the Web academies operational by the

end of 2001. To ensure high quality of training as per international standards,

Datapro is also setting up six 'Expert Centers' in major locations. The

objectives of these would be to provide trained faculty and technical support to

all Web academies irrespective of their location.

"In the present hi-tech scenario, when it comes to getting into

professional, well-delivered courses, Datapro offers a comprehensive and

qualitative computer education. The Web Academy program will impart required

knowledge and skills to Internet professionals that will help them survive in an

increasingly competitive new economy," said Rajeev Arora, Chairman and MD,

Datapro.
