Datamatics CEO joins IACC, WIC as regional-VP

NEW DELHI: The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) has elected Manish Modi, CEO and managing director of Datamatics Technologies Limited (DTL), as the regional vice president for the year 2006-2007, for the Western India Council(WIC).

Modi has been on the Board of IACC as a council member for the last three years and has been actively involved with some of the most events organized by IACC. He has also chaired the Global Offshore Outsourcing Summit 2006 (GOOS 2006).

Commenting on his new role, Modi said: “I am pleased to be associated with the Chamber at such a prestigious position. The Chamber serves as a link between the business communities of the two nations. I am looking forward to contribute to the principal bilateral Chamber committed to the promotion of industrial, economic, business and commercial activities between the US and India.”

Modi has over 16 years of experience in marketing and business development and currently holds the position of CEO and MD, Datamatics Technologies. Under his leadership DTL became the first publicly listed BPO company in India. He spearheaded DTL’s foray into data management services to the overseas market a decade ago.
