Datacraft RPG has formed a partnership with Samsung Electronics Company to pursue

rapidly emerging business opportunities with broadband Internet service providers in

India. Under a three year agreement, Datacraft RPG will market, distribute and support

Samsung's highly competitive range of cable TV network digital modems, ADSL (asymmetric

digital subscriber line) modems and Internet video phones through its network of seven

sales and service offices across India.

"Fast, reliable and cost-effective Internet access is

the critical success factor in being able to offer a service that integrates data, voice

and video communications. This partnership with Samsung enables us to provide fixed-line

telecom service providers, cable TV operators and ISPs with end-to-end broadband Internet

infrastructure that includes excellent customer premises equipment," said Datacraft

Asia CEO Ron Cattell. "We also see great potential in Samsung's new web video phone

and other network appliance innovation since these will enable service providers to make

the Internet truly ubiquitous, extending its reach to the not so computer-literate

population."

Datacraft RPG will integrate Samsung's high-speed access

devices - which were developed in conjunction with Cisco System - into a complete solution

for service providers that include Cisco's carrier-class ADSL access multiplexers or cable

data headed equipment.
