Datacraft is India’s first Cisco Gold-certified Partner

BANGALORE: Cisco Systems has appointed Datacraft as the company’s first Gold certified partner in India. This is Cisco’s highest certification to partners globally and underlines the highest levels of support and service that Datacraft is capable of delivering to Cisco’s customers in India.

Datacraft India, President, Dilip Kumar said, "Cisco’s Gold-certification is a tremendous fillip to our networking business in India. The certification will demand very exacting standards from our organisation as it means we have a required number of Cisco certified individuals on staff, be capable of both pre-sales and post-sales support and provides value beyond just the resale of Cisco products. In recognition of this certification achievement, Datacraft will receive a Gold Certification kit and will be identified as a Gold certified partner in the Cisco Partner Locator website. Cisco’s Channel Partner Strategy emphasis the need for Partners to deliver value-added, technical expertise in specialized networking solution areas. This is line with Cisco’s focus on specialization and certification and not on volume based discounts.

Cisco does 100 per cent of its business in India via partners. Cisco sells to its customers primarily via 18 Systems Integrators, 3 Distributors and more than 1400 Authorized Resellers across India.
