PUNE: IT services company Datacraft India, has bagged a $1.4 million contract from Wataniya Telecom Maldives Pvt Ltd, to set up an enterprise communications network and contact centre for its new operations in Maldives.
Wataniya Telecom is investing over $40 million to launch an island-wide GSM services by August 2005.
“As part of this project, Datacraft will design, deploy and support the complete network infrastructure for enterprise communications, internet access, data centre application, server farm, and multimedia contact center,” the IT services provider said in a press statement here.
Datacraft will also provide security infrastructure, converged infrastructure with enterprise IP telephony and unified messaging. Additionally, it will provide wireless connectivity across the corporate office, remote branch office connectivity to corporate office for data and voice communications, voice gateway and soft switch for master switch center and PSTN interface.
