The solution comes with high-technology modules along with network components and remote management systems in a single rack with space and power-saving design that is highly cost-effective for the emerging enterprises.

Most Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) require IT solutions that simplify the complexity, are affordable, scalable and have good back up support.

HCL 'Datacentre in a Box' is designed to be simple yet it can support business applications including ERP, CRM, SCM, mail, web (proxy) and print services, that are required by small and medium enterprises. The solution is also adaptable and scalable to the evolving business needs; HCL Infosystems assures a single-point contact for support, freeing enterprises of the hassles of calling multiple vendors.

HCL also plans to have a pan India road show of the solutions focusing on the SMB clusters.

The Indian SMB market is estimated at approximately 7.5 million businesses, of which only 21 per cent are known to make use of PCs. According to an AMI survey, at present only 40% of networked SMBs have deployed servers, while close to one-third of such small business organizations are planning to deploy a server in the next 12 months.
