Data Robotics is now Drobo

SAN JOSE, USA: Privately held storage product vendor Data Robotics Inc., founded in 2004 and headquartered in San Jose, California, announced that the company has officially approved a name change to Drobo Inc.

"Our customers and resellers have come to recognize us by the Drobo brand and product name so we decided to make it official," explained Tom Buiocchi, CEO at Drobo. "We're just doing what they told us to do."

The company also announced today a move to, larger corporate headquarters at 2460 North First Street in San Jose, California, a space formerly occupied by F5 Networks Inc.
