Data to play crucial role in the Digital Future

PUNE, INDIA: Data will be crucial in going ahead for future business acquisitions, said Janakiraman Ramakrishnan, Head of Strategy, Rolls-Royce India, as he explained the role of data in driving digital strategies with focus on customer acquisition and engagement during his keynote address at he DigiCom Pune 2018 last week.

The DigiCom Pune 2018 saw major interactions happening around data and experts believed that the latter is going to play the bigger role in driving digital future. During the course of the event, some of the leading industry experts also talked and brainstormed the significance of being digital in acquiring new age customers.

The role of digital content and significance of digital in shaping up the go-to-market strategies were also discussed during the two interactive and informative panel discussions. The panelists also stressed the need for tonality of the digital content, consistency and how digital can be initiated with small steps within the organizations. The panelists were Ravindra Utgikar, VP Corporate Strategy and Marketing, Praj Industries; Manjunatha G, Head of India Marketing, BMC Software; Tanvi Saxena Parekh, Head Brand Solutions (India), Sakal Media Group; Kulwinder Singh, VP Marketing, RoundGlass; Sooryanarayanan B, Head Corporate Marketing, eInfochips (An Arrow Company); and Bhairavi Rangarajan, Head Digital Marketing, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance.

Kapil Mudholkar, Director, Reeixit Media, and organizer of Digicom Pune highlighted digital's role in shaping up future customer engagement and how technologies like AI will play a bigger role in taking digital to the next level.

Ashish Verma of Wolf Regalos also touched upon some great ideas on how organizations can digitize their merchandise to enhance customer and employee engagement. This event was organized, conceptualized, designed and produced.
