D-Link Q2 net up by 71%

MUMBAI: D-Link (India) Ltd has reported 71 percent increase in its net profit which stood at Rs nine crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2003 as compared to a revenue of Rs 5.28 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.



The company reported 26 percent increase in net sales for the quarter, which stood at Rs.60.04 crore as compaed to Rs 47.77 crore in the corresponding period last year. Profit before depreciation and tax for the quarter stood at Rs.11.11 crore.







The company's net sales for the half year ended September 30, 2003 stood at Rs 101.29 crore as compare to net sales of Rs 86.61 crore in the corresponding period last year. Net Profit for H1, 2003 stood at Rs 15.82 crore as compared to a net profit of Rs 11.03 crore in H1, 2002.





The Board of Directors has also recommended an interim dividend of 60 percent.
