D-Link India Q4 net up 6%

NEW DELHI: D-Link India Ltd has posted a 5.89 percent increase in net profit to Rs 7.54 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2004 as compared to a net profit of Rs 7.12 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2003. The company's total income (net of excise) increased from Rs 61.39 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2003 to Rs 69.93 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2004, an increase of 13.9 percent.

According to the BSE website, the company has posted a 41.6 percent increase in net profit to Rs 31.3 crore for the year ended March 31, 2004 as compared to a net profit of Rs 22.1 crore for the year ended March 31, 2003. The total income (net of excise) increased 18.7 percent to Rs 192.16 crore in the year ended March 31, 2003 to Rs 228.1 crore in the year ended March 31, 2004.

The Group posted a net profit after adjustments of Rs 31.17 crore for the year ended March 31, 2004 as compared to a net profit of Rs 22.1 crore for the year ended March 31, 2003, an increase of 41.04 percent. Total Income (net of excise) increased from Rs 192.04 crore in the year ended March 31, 2003 to Rs 235.04 crore in the year ended March 31, 2004.

The Board of Directors of D Link India Ltd has recommended a final dividend of 40%.
