KOLKATA: The Bangalore-based Cyberscape Multimedia Limited has introduced a

banking solutions software that is designed to support banking transactions

through parameters, charts and values. The voucher-based online integrated

software is developed under the client server technology and uses

object-oriented methodologies and tools. The banking tools can be used for

checking details on lockers, accounts, deposits and loan amounts.

Through a single screen, the software gives direct access to all the banking

transactions. Within the single worksheet there is a search option and a

calculator for half yearly and overdraft interest calculations. To facilitate

faster and effective fund and banking management, it also lists individuals who

have either closed or opened accounts and a brief summary of their transactions.

Built around the functional structure of modern banking, the solution is easy

to use with a GUI screen interface. Pictorial options permits first-time users

to easily navigate through their worksheet. Shahakari-2000 is developed on the

workflow concept with customer-orientation in mind.

The software also supports personal identification number (PIN) as a standard

for customer identification for processing any account transactions. The

software is highly scaled to exploit e-commerce as an effective functionality in

its operations. The package has balance sheets, vital reports like BCB, priority

sector, arrears, CRR, SLR and a credit monitoring and asset clarification sheet

along with customizable graphs and charts and an intelligent passbook interface.

The software also includes a photo scan and retrieval option along with ATM

connectivity. There is also a built-in transaction tracing system that helps in

audit trials. The software will be available in Kannada, Hindi, Marathi,

Gujarati, Punjabi and Malayam. The recommended system requirements are a 32 MB

RAM with a 1 GB hard disk and Pentium II. The software also supports a wide

range of operating systems and works on most RDBMS.
