Cybernet sets up e-business test lab

BANGALORE: San Jose-based Cybernet Software Systems Inc. has set up a e-business testing venture in India. Named Ready to Go, the new company based in Chennai, will offer solutions for Web site testing needs, said a release.

The suite of testing services includes performance tests–estimation of the site’s load bearing ability, its reaction to a sudden increase in the numbers of users etc., and functionality tests. Web site monitoring services that analyze a site’s traffic and usage patterns are also offered, the release added.

The company will have test labs that simulate Web environments and enable offline testing. The labs have the ability to simulate initially up to 10,000 concurrent users with infrastructure to expand to 100,000 users. A large team of testing engineers and consultants power these labs, interact with clients and help design and implement complete testing solutions that are best suited to the client’s requirements, said the release.
