CyberMedia's half-yearly revenue is Rs.371.70 mn

NEW DELHI, INDIA: CyberMedia India Ltd, South Asia's largest specialty media house, announced on Friday that its half yearly revenue was Rs.371.70 million.

The revenue for the quarter ended September 30, 2011 was Rs.188.41 million.

The profit before tax (PBT) for the half year was Rs.5.42 million, much higher than a negative of Rs.11.83 million in the previous year.

While media contributed Rs.229.41 million for the revenue for that period, Media Service recorded a contribution of Rs.145.89 million, according to the company's regulatory filing.

With over 18 publications, CyberMedia Group reaches out to over 1.5 million people in the areas of infotech, telecom, biotech, entrepreneurship, outsourcing, consumer electronics, and law. The publications include Dare, PC Quest, Dataquest and Technology Review.

The Company has identified business segments as the primary segments by taking into account the nature of services, the differing risks and returns, the organizational structure and  the internal reporting system.
