CyberMedia records Rs 28 cr Q4 net revenue

BANGALORE, INDIA: South Asia's largest specialty media house CyberMedia India Ltd, , has recorded Rs 28.07 crore total revenue for the fourth quarter ended March 2010, up from 23.14 crore recorded for the quarter ended December 31, 2009.

The company's profit before tax also showed considerable improvement compared to the previous quarter. Improvement in sales and reduction in expenditure are the main factors that helped the performance this quarter.For the year ended March 31, 2010, CyberMedia recorded a revenue of Rs 101.13 crore, compared to 121.68 in the previous fiscal.

CyberMedia brands, which reach out to a community of over 1.5 million people through publications, websites, events and TV programs,  cover infotech, telecom, biotech, entrepreneurship, outsourcing, consumer electronics, and legal domains.

Its Media Services include IDC India, the leading ICT market research company in the region; and Content Matrix, USA which provides through its subsidiaries, custom publishing and content management services.

Apart from CIOL, the company has leading media brands in the region including Dataquest, PCQuest, Voice&Data, BioSpectrum, Dare, Global Services, Living Digital, MIT’s Technology Review and Halsbury’s Law.
