CyberMedia records Rs 250 mn revenue in Q3

BANGALORE, INDIA: CyberMedia India Ltd, South Asia's largest specialty media house, has recorded Rs 250.45 million total income for the third quarter ended December 31, 2009.

During the quarter, the company has been able to maintain the performance levels of the previous quarter due to stringent cost control measures and organizational restructuring initiated by the Company. EBITDA of the company remains positive.

During the third quarter, CyberMedia has reduced its expenditure by 4.12 per cent compared to the previous quarter. The company improved its performance on its profit before tax compared to the second quarter.

CyberMedia reaches out to a community of over 1.5 million people through publications, websites, events and TV programs. Its brands cover infotech, telecom, biotech, entrepreneurship, outsourcing, consumer electronics, and legal domains.

Its Media Services include IDC India, the leading ICT market research company in the region; and Content Matrix, USA which provides through its subsidiaries, custom publishing and content management services.

The company has leading media brands in the region including Dataquest, PCQuest, Voice&Data, BioSpectrum, Dare, Global Services, Living Digital, MIT’s Technology Review and Halsbury’s Law.
