CyberMedia records 43 p.c growth in its Q1 revenues

NEW DELHI, INDIA: CyberMedia India Ltd has posted total income of Rs 33.07 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2008 showing a growth of 43 per cent over the corresponding quarter previous year. The company had posted Rs 23.13 crore revenues during the last year first quarter.

The company said that its media services share in revenue mix is at 51 per cent as against 32 per cent. The company has seen 121 per cent growth in media services consequent to the acquisition of TDA group in USA.

Earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) is positive at Rs 12.35 million as against negative of Rs 0.88 million.

During the quarter, CyberMedia has entered into an agreement with MIT’s technology review Inc for launch of Indian editions of the Em Tech conference and the award-winning magazine Technology Review.

The company also acquired the stake of its JV partner in the entity UBM-CyberMedia LLC. This company owns the Global Services brand serving the outsourcing community.
