CyberMedia Q1 revenue at Rs 183 mn

NEW DELHI, INDIA: CyberMedia India Ltd, South Asia's largest specialty media house, announced that its revenue for the first quarter of the current financial year was Rs 183.29 million and the net profit was Rs 1.73 million, compared to a negative of Rs 6.33 million in the year-ago quarter.

While media contributed Rs 111.44 million, Media Services generated Rs 73.69 million revenue, the inter-segment revenue being Rs 1.84 million.

CyberMedia brands reach out to over 1.5 million people through its publications, which cover Infotech, Telecom, Biotech, entrepreneurship, outsourcing, consumer electronics, and legal domains.

In March, CyberMedia parted ways with IDC and expanded its information and communication technology (ICT)-led market research portfolio with the launch of CyberMedia Research (CMR).

CyberMedia's media services also includes Content Matrix, USA which provides custom publishing and content management services.
